State Sentinel
Wetumpka FFA Chapter

What’s up Alabama FFA? My name is Case Edwards from the Wetumpka Chapter, and I am excited to be serving as your 2020-2019 State Sentinel. I am attending Central Alabama Community College as an Ag Ed major. During my time in high school, I competed in Creed Speaking and Small Engines. My SAE is in the Agricultural Mechanics field. In my spare time you can find me working outside, hanging with my friends, or listening to music. I am super excited for this year and can’t wait to see all of you guys!

Supervised Agricultural Experience:

My SAE is based on my experience at Arant’s Tractor repair in Wetumpka, Alabama. In my two years there I have grown from a basic understanding of small gasoline engines, to being able to troubleshoot and repair heavy diesel equipment.

Favorite Book:

Master and Commander – Patrick O’Brian

Favorite Movie:

Forrest Gump

Favorite Meal:

The Original Chicken Sandwich from Chick-fil-A

Favorite Quote:

“LIfe’s tough get a helmet” – Jerad Dyess

Favorite Thing about FFA:

My favorite thing about FFA is that though we all come from different backgrounds. We are all united by the same blue jacket. Whether your passion is livestock, soil science, or ag mechanics. We all have the same opportunity to grow within this organization.

College Plans: I am attending Central Alabama Community College to get my Associates in Science. I plan on transferring to Auburn to pursue a double major in Agriscience and Agriscience Education.
