Supervised Agricultural Experience:

My SAE is Show Pig Production, and it falls under the Ownership/Entrepreneurship category. Through this SAE I raise show pigs and compete in livestock shows across the state. This is my second year being involved in this SAE, and I have loved every minute of it.

Career Development/Leadership/Talent Event(s):

The first FFA competition I competed in was the Quiz Bowl LDE in the eighth grade. In ninth grade I competed in the Conduct of a Chapter Meeting LDE. I have also competed in various CDEs such as Building Construction, Small Engines, Forestry, and Agricultural Education.

Major FFA Accomplishments:

Winning the district competition in the Conduct of a Chapter

Meeting LDE, Serving as a Central District Officer, and being elected the State Secretary.

Favorite Book:

Definitely Where the Red Fern Grows, I read this book in the ninth grade and it was definitely a memorable book.

Favorite Movie:

My favorite movie has to be The Sandlot. I have always been a baseball fan, and I feel that the sandlot portrays baseball in its purest form

Favorite Meal:

Definitely a nice ribeye steak cooked medium rare, with fries, and a glass of sweet tea.

Favorite Quote:

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” – Lao Tzu

Favorite Song:

Definitely something by Cody Johnson, it would have to be either Dear Rodeo or Ain’t Nothin To It.

Favorite thing about FFA:

How we are all united with a common purpose, and the sense of community that comes with being a FFA member.

Favorite FFA Memory:

Definitely my first National Convention trip in the ninth grade. Meeting a lot of new people from all over the country and seeing how their upbringing differed from mine just based off of where we are from was an amazing experience for me.

College Plans:

I will be attending Gadsden State Community College for two years to complete my basic classes, then I will be transferring to Auburn University to receive a degree in Agricultural Education.
