August 25, 2022Supervised Agricultural Experience:
For the past 8 years I have maintained a small scale beef production SAE as well as competing in steer shows those years. I showed chickens and pigs for several years in that time frame as well. My duties required me to wash, feed, and shelter my animals. I also trained them to be able to show at county and state livestock shows.I have enjoyed my SAE and hope to mentor others later in life in my SAE
Career Development/Leadership/Talent Event(s):
I have competed in the Livestock Judging Career Development Event three years, placing top four in the state one year. Additionally, I had the opportunity to compete in the Extemporaneous Public Speaking Contest for three years.
Major FFA Accomplishments:
My major FFA accomplishments include being a back to back 1st place winner in Extemporaneous Speaking at district and finishing 3rd at state those years as well , serving three years as a W.S. Neal Chapter Officer, and being elected State Secretary
Favorite Book:
My favorite book is “43 Lessons to Legacy” – The Lutzie Foundation. A book written by many different people it lays out a strong guideline to life and creating a legacy.
Favorite Movie:
My favorite movie has to be “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”. It’s a tale of three prisoners as they travel the countryside and land in all sorts of strange circumstances.
Favorite meal:
My favorite meal has to be a medium – rare Ribeye with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese.

Favorite thing about FFA:
My favorite thing about FFA is meeting all of the new and interesting people that might not have similar interests, but share a common love for this great organization.
Favorite FFA Memory:
My favorite FFA Memory has to be the 2022 State Livestock Expo. Waking up those early mornings with other members from my chapter and washing calves was always rough. But being able to hangout and cheer each other on as we each showed in our respective classes was always a blast.
College Plans:
I am a full-time student at Auburn University pursuing a degree in Biological and Agricultural Technology Management (BATMAN). I plan to work in the Agriculture Mechanics lab on Ag Hill and pursue my masters.
