POSTPONED: North District FFA Officer Interviews

North District Advisors,

The 2020 North District FFA Officer Interviews will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2020 beginning at 10:00 am on the campus Calhoun Community College, Decatur Campus. The address is 6250 US-31, Tanner, AL 35671. I have attached a map for your convenience as well. The red pin indicates the library building. We will be in the library and surrounding classrooms. This is a new location for interviews so please be sure to make travel arrangements in such a way that you have time to find the building. I have done my very best to avoid spring breaks and other events in planning these interviews. Also, attached is a sample score sheet for your candidate to review.

Applications are due in the Montgomery Office by March 1. I will be sending out a list at some point that week to you all with the names and chapters of the candidates in which I have received applications.

There are four components to the interviews for a total of 400 points. These areas are:

1. The application
2. The written exam
3. The written response
4. The interview

Tentative Agenda

9:30 am – Check in to library of Calhoun Community College

10:00 am – Opening remarks and instructions

10:15 am – Written Test and Written Response activity

11:30 am – Lunch (provided)

12:00 pm – State and Dual Officer Interviews immediately followed by District Only Officer Interviews

4:00 pm – Advancement Reveal

4:30 pm – Adjourn

We have another opportunity for Mock Interviews Monday, February 24 at Cullman Middle School beginning at 4 pm.
